Itinerary

Day 01: Kochi

Upon arrival at Kochi Airport or Railway Station, meet with our representatives who will assist you to reach the hotel. Take some rest and then leave to explore Kochi. Here you will see Mattancherry palace or Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue etc.

Day 02: Kochi – Kumarakom (100 km – 02½ hr)

Have breakfast and then leave for Kumarakom that is one of the few places where the means for transportation is by boats. Here you will see the majestic Vembanad Lake that has majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks and weave an intricate and enchantingly beautiful web. You can enjoy your evening doing your own activities.

Day 03: Kumarakom

Have breakfast and then leave to visit Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary where you can see a profusion of variety of birds such as herons, cuckoo, egrets, wild duck, darters, teal and water fowl and the Siberian stork, a migratory bird. Then you can watch the Vembanad Lake that has its majestic canals, streams and distributaries along its banks and they weave an intricate and beautiful web.

Day 04: Houseboat

Have breakfast and then leave for boat Jetty to board the traditionally decorated houseboats. Today you can enjoy the enchanting backwater cruising, which is hard to enjoy anywhere else in the world. The glide in a "Kettuvallam" or houseboat through the enchanting backwaters will definitely rob your heart. Feel the magical beauty of the surroundings and enjoy the feeling of being in the watery universe that will rejuvenate your body and mind.

Day 05: Houseboat – Kovalam (176 km- 05 hr)

Have breakfast and then leave for Kovalam that is also known as the "Paradise of the South". This beach is a dreamland which is evergreen, pleasant climatic, serene and enticing. Take some rest at the hotel on arrival and later in the evening you can enjoy doing your own activities.

Day 06: Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

Have breakfast and then get ready to explore the historical and beautiful Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram that means "the city of Ananthan". According to Hindu religious tales, Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu rests. The temple of Anantha, the Sri Padmanabhaswamy is the most religious attraction of the city. Other famous attraction is the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum whose name means 'palace of horses' and is derived from the wall painting of 122 wooden horses that are beautifully carved on the exterior walls. Then visit the Veli Tourist Village that has a waterfront park. This park has an amazing range of aqua entertainment facilities such as landscaped garden, fishponds and wading pools. At last visit the Shangumugham Beach to watch the amazing sunset.

Day 07: Kovalam

After the breakfast you can leave the hotel room to explore the beauty of Kovalam. Here you can see the everlasting sea touching the eternal sky. At this amazing place you can see the golden sand during the day time and silver sand in the night. The high rock promontory and the calm bay of blue waters help this beautiful beach paradise to create a unique aquarelle on full moon nights.

Day 08: Kovalam - Kanyakumari (84 km - 02 hr)

Have breakfast and then leave for Kanyakumari, an important pilgrim centre of India, which is famous for the Amman Temples, dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To the South – East of this temple lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Then you can visit the famous Mahatma Gandhi Memorial that was designed in a unique way that on Mahatma Gandhi's birthday on 02nd October, the first rays of the sun fall on the exact place where his ashes were kept. Later you can see the Thiruvalluvar Statue in the memorial statue of Thiruvalluvar in Kanyakumari.

Day 09: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (95 km – 02½ hr)

After the breakfast start packing your luggage and then leave for your home with a promise to return once again to this Paradise to spend some quality time with your family or friends.
