Itinerary

Day 01: Kochi

Our representative will greet you at Kochi Airport or Railway Station on you arrival and then they will assist you to reach the hotel room. After taking some rest, get ready to visit Kochi. You will see Chinese Fishing Nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, and St. Francis Church. Then you will also see the great Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry Palace or Dutch Palace.

Day 02: Kochi – Munnar (158 km – 04 hr)

Have breakfast and then leave for Munnar, which is breathtakingly beautiful and known as the haven of peace and tranquility. This is also the gateway of Hills in South India. On your way to Munnar you can watch beautiful waterfalls in Cheeyappara and colorful flowers in Blossom Garden.

Day 03: Munnar 

Today you can enjoy visiting Munnar. Start your trip from the Eravikulam National Park where you can see a very rare mountain goat called Nilgiri Tahr. Then you can visit Mattupetty Dam and the Shola forests around Mattupetty, which are ideal for trekking and bird watching. Then visit Kundala that is a beautiful town located at the convergence of three mountain streams namely Nallathanni, Mudrapuzha and Kundala. You will also visit very famous Echo and View Points and Tea Gardens.

Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (110 km – 03 hr

After having your breakfast, you can leave the hotel room to visit Thekkady. Here you will visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary where you can see various wildlife attractions such as Nilgiri Langur, Wild Elephants, Sambar Deer, Wild Boar, Wild Bison, etc. Today you can also enjoy some optional activities such as Bamboo Rafting, Spice Plantation Tour, Trekking and Elephant ride and you can also visit the local spice market for some garden fresh spices and handicrafts.

Day 05: Thekkady – Houseboat (130 km – 03 hr)

Have your breakfast and then proceed to the boat Jetty to board the marvelously decorated houseboats.  You can then enjoy the enchanting backwater cruising. A glide in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters will give you the feeling of being in a watery universe where you can hear your own blood pumping. The magical beauty of Kerala will surely rob your heart.

Day 06: Houseboat – Kovalam (176 km – 05 hr)

Have your breakfast and then leave for the "Paradise of the South", Kovalam beach.  This is a dreamland for every tourist that will win your heart with its evergreen, pleasant climatic, serene and enticing surroundings. After taking some rest you can go for a walk on the beach where you can see how the unending sky touches the everlasting sea. Here you can see the golden sand during the day time and silver sand in the night and the beautiful surrounding creates a unique aquarelle on moonlight nights.

Day 07: Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

After having your breakfast you can leave the hotel room to visit Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram that means Ananthapuri or the city of Ananthan.  The Thiru means Great Lord and Ananthan's Puram means City. The serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu rests is called the Ananthan. The temple of Thiruvananthapuram is the main attraction of the city. Then you can visit Kuthiramalika Palace Museum whose name Kuthiramalika means palace of horses.  The name is derived from the fresco of 122 wooden horses made on the exterior walls. Then you can see the Veli Tourist Village known for Waterfront Park that has a wide range of aqua entertainment facilities such as wading pools, fishponds, and landscaped garden. Then you can visit Shangumugham Beach to watch the amazing sunset.

Day 08: Kovalam - Kanyakumari (84 km - 02 hr)

After the breakfast you can leave for Kanyakumari or the land of virgin goddess. It is an important pilgrim centre of India and is famous for the Amman Temples, dedicated to the virgin Goddess, Kanya Kumari. To the South – East of the temple lies the famous Vivekananda Rock Memorial. Then you can also visit Mahatma Gandhi Memorial that was so designed that on his b’day (2nd October), the first rays of the sun fall on the exact place where his ashes were kept.

Day 09: Kanyakumari – Trivandrum (95 km – 02½ hr) 

Have breakfast and then get ready to leave for Trivandrum to board the flight or train to reach your home with some memories that you will cherish for lifetime.
