Day 01: Kochi

Arrive at Kochi Airport or Railway Station and then reach the hotel with the help of our representatives. Take some rest and then leave the hotel to visit local quaint spots.

Day 02: Kochi

After the breakfast, leave the hotel room to visit Kochi that has the best preserved history of colonial times. The major tourist attractions that you can enjoy visiting are Santa Cruz Basilica, Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue and Mattancherry palace or Dutch Palace.

Day 03: Kochi – Houseboat (100 km – 02½ hr)

After the breakfast proceed to the boat Jetty to board the traditionally decorated houseboats to begin the enchanting backwater cruising. Enjoy gliding in a "Kettuvallam" (Houseboat) through the enchanting backwaters in a watery universe that with its magical beauty will take you to another world.

Day 04: Kumarakom

After the breakfast you have to leave for Kumarakom where the means for transportation is by boats. Here you will see the Vembanad Lake which has majestic canals, streams and distributaries. The famous tourist place here is the Bird Sanctuary where you can see plenty of birds such as wild duck, cuckoo, egrets, herons, darters, teal, and water fowl and the migratory bird such as Siberian storks.

Day 05: Kumarakom - Varkala (110 km – 03 hr)

Have breakfast and then leave for Varkala that is a calm and quiet hamlet on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram district. Here you will see the craggy rocks, secluded beach and the hint of undulating backwaters. Varkala Beach is in the backdrop of rocky cliffs, and provides a perfect contrast to the lapping waves. The Papanasam Beach is the most prominent place of Varkala Beach where one can enjoy amazing sunset.

Day 06: Varkala

After the breakfast, you can leave the hotel room to visit the 2000 years old Janardhana Temple that is a fine example of art and architecture of Kerala and is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Then you can visit the Sivagiri Mutt, a religious site founded by Sree Narayana Guru (1856 – 1952). He was a famous philosopher and social reformer of modern Kerala. Then you can enjoy watching Kappil Lake that gives way to the pictorial world of the Kerala backwaters.

Day 07: Varkala – Kovalam (66 km – 01½ hr)

Have breakfast and then leave for Kovalam beach that is also known as the "Paradise of the South". This evergreen, pleasant climatic, serene and enticing beach destination has always been famous among tourists. Here you will see how the unending sea touches the endless sky. Here you will see the golden sand during the day time and silver sand in the night. This is a perfect place that you can visit in the full moon night.

Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum – Kovalam

Have breakfast and then leave for Trivandrum or Thiruvananthapuram that means Ananthapuri or the city of Ananthan. The Thiru means Great/Lord and Ananthan's Puram means City of Ananthan. Actually, according to the Hindu mythology, Ananthan is the serpent Sesha on whom Padmanabhan or Vishnu rests. Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple is the most religious icon of the city that you will love watching. Another attraction is the Kuthiramalika Palace Museum whose name Kuthiramalika means 'palace of horses' and is derived from the wall painting of 122 wooden horses made on the exterior walls of the museum. Then you will visit the beautiful Veli Tourist Village that is famous for Waterfront Park that has marvelous range of aqua entertainment facilities like wading pools, fishponds and landscaped garden. Then in the evening you can visit the Shangumugham Beach to watch the amazing sunset.

 Day 09: Kovalam – Trivandrum (20 km – 45 min)


Have breakfast and then pack your baggage to leave for your home with a promise to return once again to this Paradise.
